Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
The term bioidentical hormone means that a hormone taken from plant sources and commercially made is identical to the hormone made in your body at the molecular level. Bioidentical hormones can be administered as a pill, transdermal or pellet.
Bioidentical Hormone Pellets are about the size of a grain of rice and are placed just under the skin through a small incision. Once inserted, the pellet slowly dissolves over the course of several months consistently delivering the dosing that the body needs.
Bioidentical hormones have been shown to improve many conditions such as menopause, osteoporosis, heart disease, and others.
